Join us at our latest 'An Inclusive World' event at Media City as we celebrate Disability, Enterprise and Innovation.

Following the success of our pre-Covid event in 2019 we are returning to Media City, the Media Centre of the North, home to BBC and ITV.

Our event will shine a spotlight on Inclusive Entrepreneurship, its valuable contribution and future potential in respect of innovation.

Inclusive means entrepreneurship is open and easily accessible to all. It levels the playing field and allows entrepreneurs to seek, create and participate in opportunities, especially those facing barriers to the workplace.

Our event will be opened by Dr Lisa Cameron MP, Chair of the APPG for Inclusive Entrepreneurship.

The event will be filmed by Chris Lynch www.diversemedia.com a wonderful opportunity to be featured in a production of such an accomplished member of our community.

Chris will be interviewing delegates throughout the event.

By registering and attending you give us permission to include you in our film and photos and use them on our website, collateral and other media.

We will be showcasing artwork from some incredible artists from the community which will be available to view throughout the event.

Our speakers and panelists will address the key challenges and emerging solutions to promoting innovation and growth.

We will be capturing the lived experience and breadth of innovation within the sector as we host one of the Focus Groups for the 'Road to Wonder' Research Project.

Friday June 25, 2021: 'Doing Business Differently' Inclusive Entrepreneurship

Facebook Live event

We are delighted to be collaborating with Facebook and the All Party Parliamentary Group for Inclusive Entrepreneurship as part of our continued commitment to changing the narrative on disability and entrepreneurship showcasing the sector and advising on how it can be upscaled.

We recognise the importance of the virtual world even more so within the hybrid way of working during and beyond the Pandemic. For our sector equity of access to the tools within the digital space is essential to ensure no one is left behind.

The Pandemic created a much more inclusive way of working creating global opportunities within the virtual world whilst working from home. Our Inclusive Entrepreneur Network like many other organisations embarked on a steep learning curve placing core functions into previously unchartered territory.

It's clear the future of work will not be returning to business as usual as many have appreciated the work life balance this has provided. For our sector whilst it has undoubtedly removed some of the barriers we often faced within traditional work places including the journey to and from work we now need to make sure those same barriers are not reflected in this new way of working in terms of access to sector specific training, practical support, assistive technology and business networking.

INTERNATIONAL EXPO AND GALA CONCERT

Over the last two years, Universal Inclusion was host and organiser of four international gatherings which included two gala charity events.

We are now taking the conversation to a different level: we are hosting an EXPO that will be a platform and an enabling space for Inclusive Entrepreneurship. The Expo will be followed by a VIP reception and another amazing Concert.

These events are also being held in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We hope that you too are inspired by our work and support us by partnering or sponsoring our activities in part of whole.

Inclusive Entrepreneurship

makes entrepreneurship open and easily accessible to all. It levels the playing field and allows entrepreneurs to seek, create and participate in opportunities, especially those facing barriers to the workplace.

As an organisation, we have a commitment towards innovation within inclusive communities, and together we are creating the 2030 Agenda Paradigm Shift tasked of us in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - where communities start to see people who face barriers, not as burdens, but as contributing citizens who bring a new and exciting presence to the table.

The resultant contribution to the growth of the economy from such enterprise is what we term Inclusive Economic Growth.

In November 2019 we organised an afternoon of discussion on Inclusive Entrepreneurship at MediaCityUK in Manchester.

Participants heard from a panel of Inclusive Entrepreneurs. We also launched our digital platform which showcases their business. Evidence from the day will feed into a White Paper and other policy changing documents that support our Call to Action in respect of business support requirements going forward.
